A huge congratulations to the Okaihau Bowling Club women’s triples team of Pania Roberts (Skip), Katie Haynes (Second) and Faye Norman (Lead) on their outstanding achievement in reaching the Bowls New Zealand Champion of Champions Women’s Triples held in Pukekohe on the weekend.

Representing our small but proud Okaikau Bowling Club with determination, skills, and heart, the team travelled south not just to participate, but to compete.  They certainly did that, earning the respect of bowlers from around New Zealand, loosing in the last two ends to an experienced Paritutu Bowling Club, who eventually came runners up to Stoke Bowling Club.

Good luck to Judy Olsson and Barry Allison as they head away this coming week to play in the National Mixed Pairs Championship.
